Job Title: Physician Laborist (Per Diem) Location: Renton Washington Position Type: Per Diem
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laborist Physician to join our obstetrics team on a per diem basis in Renton WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a flexible schedule and is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a hospital-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient obstetric care including management of labor and delivery
Handle emergent OB situations and triage patients
Perform deliveries (vaginal and cesarean) and related procedures
Collaborate with OB/GYNs midwives and nursing staff
Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication
Requirements:
MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active or eligible Washington State medical license
Minimum of 2 years experience in obstetrics preferred
Comfortable managing both low- and high-risk deliveries
Strong teamwork communication and decision-making skills
