Location: Cincinnati OH
Contract: 9 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a physician office setting in Cincinnati OH. The RN will provide patient care assist physicians manage patient follow-ups and support daily clinic operations in an outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and document medical information in EMR
- Take vital signs weight and patient history
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Administer IM and SQ injections
- Handle patient phone triage and clinical questions
- Follow up on labs imaging and physician orders
- Educate patients on medications and treatment plans
- Process insurance authorizations and paperwork
- Maintain clinical equipment and emergency readiness
- Support overall office and nursing operations
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing required
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact License
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
- Experience in outpatient or physician office nursing
- Experience with IM/SQ injections
- Basic computer skills (Outlook Word Excel)
- Experience using EKG BP monitors treadmill and defibrillator equipment
Preferred
- BSN preferred
- 3 years of RN experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred
- Diabetes management experience preferred
