Our Chapman Chevrolet location is currently seeking a detail-oriented General Accounting Clerk to join our this role you will support dealership operations by performing essential accounting and clerical functions while maintaining accuracy organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine accounting and clerical functions to support dealership operations
- Reconcile and prepare daily cash and credit card deposits
- Submit and maintain 8300 Cash Reporting Forms in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Order and maintain dealership office support
- Process daily cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
- File and maintain vehicle deal documentation
- Provide backup support for various office responsibilities
- Assist with additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding required
- Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
- Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work
- Organized dependable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
