Job Summary
ETC a growing dynamic US company located outside of Philadelphia PA is seeking an experienced local Sheet Metal Technician to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a Full Time 40 hour a week position and offers opportunity for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up operateand monitor CNC laser cutting machines (fiber/CO₂)
- Operate traditional sheet metal equipment including press brakes shears punches and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints CAD drawings and work orders
- Select proper materials tooling and machine settings for each job
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
- Measure parts using calipers micrometers tape measures and gauges
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with supervisors engineers and other fabrication team members
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- Some experience in sheet metal fabrication andlaser operation (preferred)
- Experience with CNC laser cutting machines
- Working knowledge of press brakes and traditional sheet metal equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending reaching and handling of metal materials
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
