This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking to grow professionally and contribute to the success of the firm. The Associate will gain experience with and exposure to practice areas including complex tort & general casualty employment construction professional liability and product liability
Responsibilities
Manage matters at all states of litigation
Represent clients in a wide range of defense litigation
Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on litigation matters
Opportunities to handle court appearances and conduct depositions
Communicate with clients including providing regular reports updating clients on the status of their cases and providing recommendations regarding litigation and case resolution strategy
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts including Rhode Island and/or New Hampshire
3 years experience
Experience with litigation involving complex tort & general casualty employment construction professional liability and/or product liability preferred.
Superior communication writing analytical and research skills.
Preparing discovery requests objections and responses to discovery requests and motions and briefing relating to discovery disputes.
Handling court appearances and depositions a plus.
