Within Mobile Platform focuses on providing user-friendly scalable high-performing and cost-efficient app infrastructure components and mobile tools that enable Nubank engineers to quickly and safely test deploy monitor analyze and improve app flows and features.

Global Experience Design is one of Nubanks building blocks bringing together UX design and customer experience. The team works on evolving the app experience and the design system connecting Mobile Platform App Excellence Design Systems and App Core to create simple consistent and scalable experiences. We are at the heart of the Nubank apps foundation driving performance infrastructure scalability and the removal of legacy dependencies to allow our application to grow from millions to potentially billions of passionate customers.

This role will involve working across a variety of technologies including Native Flutter and related frameworks. We are looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer with solid experience to join the Mobile Platform team a cross-impact engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure of the mobile application optimizing our performance and enabling product teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Must Have:

• Proven and solid experience in technical development of mobile applications at a strategic leadership level.
• Strong technical background with Flutter and/or native mobile development (Android/iOS).
• Solid understanding of mobile software engineering principles architectural patterns and modularization strategies.
• Experience with ServerDriven-UI performance optimization dependency injection and migration of core systems.
• Knowledge of mobile observability monitoring and debugging tools.
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Track record of delivering results in ambiguous fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with backend technologies especially those integrated with mobile applications.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale app architecture.
• Contributions to internal SDKs libraries or mobile design systems.
• Understanding of user authentication session management and app state handling.
• Leadership in global teams.
