Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Falmouth MA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment critical thinking and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Monitor and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive care interventions
Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
Operate and monitor ventilators invasive lines and hemodynamic equipment
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Develop and update individualized patient care plans
Serve as charge nurse when assigned
Follow all hospital safety infection control and compliance protocols
Participate in patient and family education as appropriate
Float to Med/Surg Tele units when required
Required Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN License
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
Ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays
Strong communication organizational and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred
CCRN Certification
TCAR Certification
De-escalation Training Certification
Experience with ventilator management hemodynamic monitoring and intracranial pressure monitoring
