ON-SITE 1YR HEALTHCARE EXP Trauma Registrar 10160
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Coursework or training in medical terminology and human anatomy or equivalent education/experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or training in medical coding
- 1 year of medical record abstracting and/or coding experience
- 1 year of medical registry experience or 2 years in a healthcare-related field
- Experience with injury severity coding and reimbursement coding
