Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Process Engineer:
#1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering or related engineering field
#2. Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
#3. Experience in aluminum manufacturing metal casting or metals industry preferred
#4. Strong knowledge of process control process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
#5. Proficiency with engineering and process simulation tools such as AutoCAD MATLAB or similar software
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
Implement process enhancements to improve productivity quality and operational efficiency
Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and support operations
Lead process improvement and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation
Develop and modify manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer specifications
Collect analyze and interpret production data to monitor trends and recommend improvements
Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements
Support the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures
Ensure compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and company policies
Assist with training staff on safety protocols and process improvements
Requirements of the Process Engineer:
