Saint Bernadette Catholic School a parochial PreK-8th grade school located in West Springfield VA is seeking a middle school teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals for the 2026-2027 school year. The individual would teach math and other courses (such as health and/or religion) as assigned.
Duties include:
specifying learning objectives;
implementing the Diocesan curriculum using a variety of research-based teaching strategies;
and evaluating student progress.
The ideal candidate has:
a deep devotion to the Catholic faith
experience teaching
strong classroom management techniques
and effective communication skills.
Candidates should be passionate abouteducation and have a love for the students. Qualifications include: a bachelors degree in education or related field and Virginia state licensure or the ability to obtain VCEA certificaton. Salary is competitive and based on experience.
Salary range:Compensation is based on a step pay scale that provides pay based on degree level and years of teaching experience ranging from$50000for Bachelors with less than 3 years of teaching experience to $61500 for Masters with10years of teaching experience with proration for positions scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week.
