Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for a travel assignment in Santa Monica CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting clinical operations assisting providers and delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain vital signs
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
Assist with scheduling procedures and imaging appointments
Obtain prior authorizations
Support physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care activities
Requirements
Active BLS Certification
National Medical Assistant Certification required Accepted Certifications:
AAMA
AMT
AMCA
NCCT
NHA
Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
Epic charting experience preferred
Pending licenses/certifications not accepted
RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
