Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for a travel assignment in Santa Monica CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting clinical operations assisting providers and delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Assist with scheduling procedures and imaging appointments
- Obtain prior authorizations
- Support physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care activities
Requirements
- Active BLS Certification
- National Medical Assistant Certification required
Accepted Certifications:- AAMA
- AMT
- AMCA
- NCCT
- NHA
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Pending licenses/certifications not accepted
- RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
