Position Summary
We are seeking an Employment Attorney with 35 years of experience to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate is a management-side employment law generalist capable of handling both litigation and counseling matters. This is a foundational role with significant growth potential to build and lead the firms employment practice.
Key Responsibilities
Represent employers in employment litigation (wrongful termination discrimination harassment)
Advise corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws
Draft employment policies handbooks and agreements
Provide internal employment counsel to firm leadership
Build and grow the firms employment law practice
Work closely with partners and develop client relationships
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
35 years of employment law experience (management-side required)
Experience with both litigation and counseling work
Strong communication analytical and client-facing skills
Interest in building and leading a practice area
Ability to work on-site in Omaha or relocate
Compensation & Growth Base salary of $120000 $150000 depending on experience. Strong upside in a lower cost-of-living market with a clear path to partnership and practice ownership.
