- 2 outpatient office clinic days per week
- Every fourth weekend call rotation
- Day call coverage only: 7:00am5:00pm
- No overnight call responsibilities
Pay Range

This position offers a collaborative practice environment with a combination of inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage and outpatient office coverage in a general OB/GYN setting located in Cornelius NC. The role supports the on-call physician in the hospital and includes responsibilities involving labor and delivery obstetric triage postpartum care and assisting in the OR as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNM seeking a balanced inpatient/outpatient role within a growing womens services division focused on high-quality evidence-based care and long-term provider satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prenatal intrapartum postpartum and gynecologic care
- Support labor and delivery coverage in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Perform obstetric triage and postpartum evaluations
- Assist in the operating room as needed
- Deliver patient education and counseling related to pregnancy reproductive health and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to evidence-based best practices
- Promote compassionate patient-centered care throughout all stages of treatment
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current North Carolina licensure or eligibility
- Board Certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited program
- Current RN and CNM licenses
- DEA License eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Previous CNM or Labor & Delivery experience required
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative patient-centered care
