Lakeland Holding Ltd. is the holding company for Lakeland Power Distribution Ltd. Lakeland Generation Lakeland Networks & Lakeland Solutions. The Service Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting field service activities across all operating companies. This role coordinates the administrative and system aspects of field service work ensuring that customer project-related and operational issues are clearly communicated to field crews. It also ensures that new and ongoing projects are accurately documented and tracked through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and support customer-reported service issues and operational requests.
Communicate customer concerns and service details to internal crews.
Coordinate follow-ups and updates between customers and operations.
Respond to inquiries regarding work status scheduling and service impacts.
Support trouble calls service calls maintenance work voltage-related issues new and ongoing projects.
Create update and coordinate operational work orders across all subsidiaries.
Set up work orders for capital maintenance billable and intercompany work.
Create projects and associated work orders as required.
Ensure work orders are complete accurate and progressed through to closure.
Support project close-outs and ensure documentation requirements are met.
Maintain records that support OEB and hydro utility compliance requirements.
Create and maintain field service asset records.
Ensure assets are correctly linked to work orders and projects.
Support asset lifecycle tracking including in-service repair and retirement.
Assist with audits and year-end asset verification.
Review billable work orders for completeness and readiness.
Coordinate with Finance to ensure labour and charges are applied correctly.
Support intercompany work order documentation and reconciliation.
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Business Operations Utilities or equivalent experience is highly valued
2 years of experience in field service operations coordination or ERP-supported roles
Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly valued
Experience supporting field crews contractors or utility operations is highly valued
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
