Job Summary
About the Role
We are hiring a Client Retention Associate to support and grow our client retention efforts. This role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships proactively addressing at-risk accounts and ensuring a high quality client experience throughout the life of the account.
Key Responsibilities
Support renewal efforts by addressing concerns resolving issues and reinforcing Propers value
Handle objections and provide coverage comparisons
Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting CAM team and support
Maintain accurate notes and follow established retention workflows
Manage retention conversations with existing clients
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in account management customer support or sales
Strong communication skills and comfort handling difficult client conversations
Coachable and receptive to feedback
Highly organized and efficient with quick turnaround
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
What Success Looks Like
Clear reduction in avoidable cancellations and improved client satisfaction
Clients feel heard supported and confident in continuing their relationship with Proper
Retention conversations are timely professional and well documented
Strong partnership with retention team and Director of Retention
Compensation:
Given the responsibilities of this position HUB is offering a compensation structure of base pay commission ($10000 annually). The expected base pay range for this position is $70000 to $80000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and addition this position is eligible for commission which will bewholly derivedfrom the successful candidates closed sales transactions.The commission structure variesbyscope of work and book of business.
