Job Overview
NORTH STAR CONNECT GROUP LTD a leading provider of innovative telecommunications solutions is seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to support the planning and execution of a wide range of corporate events from industry trade shows and product launches to client-facing seminars and internal team-building activities. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous planner with outstanding communication skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences that align with our companys strategic goals.
Responsibilities
* Assist the event management team in all stages of the event lifecycle from initial conception and planning through to on-site execution and post-event analysis. * Coordinate event logistics including venue sourcing catering audio-visual equipment and travel arrangements. * Manage guest lists send invitations and track RSVPs to ensure accurate attendee records. * Prepare and organise event materials such as marketing collateral presentations name badges and delegate packs. * Liaise professionally with vendors suppliers and partners to ensure all services are delivered on time and within budget. * Provide essential on-site support during events assisting with registration guest enquiries and ensuring the smooth running of the schedule. * Assist with tracking event budgets processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. * Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to help promote events and maximise their impact.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role such as event coordination administration or project support. * Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and personable demeanour. * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook). * A proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure. * A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. * A degree in Marketing Hospitality Communications or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
