Cost Engineer (Engineering-Capital Management) Position Summary
The Cost Engineer will be responsible for developing analyzing and presenting cost estimates for engineering and capital management projects. This role requires close collaboration with clients engineers contractors and architects to ensure accurate financial planning and project feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting with clients to discuss project scope and scale.
Traveling to job sites to gather data on materials labor and other cost factors.
Collaborating with engineers contractors and architects to align technical and financial aspects.
Consulting with industry experts to validate and refine cost estimates.
Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the project.
Using specialized software (including Twenty5) to calculate and model cost estimates.
Preparing and presenting detailed cost reports for clients and stakeholders.
Reviewing expenditure statements during all phases of the project to ensure alignment with budget.
Standard Hours
10 hours per week (part-time engagement).
