The Denver office is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate with 3 4 years of experience to join its growing corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to take on meaningful responsibility and work directly with sophisticated clients on complex middle market and lower middle market transactions.
Associates will play a key role in transaction execution client interaction drafting and negotiations and overall deal management while working alongside experienced attorneys in a highly collaborative environment.
Key areas of work include:
Middle market and lower middle market M&A transactions
Private equity transactions
Transaction structuring and negotiations
Due diligence and deal execution
Drafting and reviewing transaction documents
Advising clients on strategic business and transactional matters
Experience with outside general counsel work is considered a plus but is not required.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have:
3 4 years of experience in middle market and lower middle market M&A transactions
Experience with private equity transactions
Strong drafting negotiation and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
A proven track record of success within a law firm environment
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
The ability to thrive in a dynamic collaborative and fast-paced environment
A growth-oriented mindset and desire to play a meaningful role on deal teams
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
