Job Summary

Reading and interpreting blueprints and other construction documents
Installing and tying steel reinforcement bars also known as rebar to support concrete structures
Calculating and cutting rebar to appropriate lengths
Assembling rebar cages to the required specifications
Placing and tying rebar into position with wire pliers and power tools
Working safely and efficiently at heights and in confined spaces
