PCU Registered Nurse Travel & Local Assignment Atlanta GA
We are hiring experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for a 13-week assignment at a major Level 1 Trauma Center in Atlanta Georgia. This role is part of a high-impact float pool supporting a diverse cardiac patient population.
Assignment Details
Location: Atlanta GA 30303
Duration: 13 weeks (June 1 August 29 2026)
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
On-call: None
Candidates: Open to both Local and Travel nurses
Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
Support the PCU Float Pool rotating through all PCU and IMCU floors focused on cardiac care.
Manage a patient ratio of 1:3 4 providing specialized care for STEMI NSTEMI CTS and chest pain patients.
Expertly titrate and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone Dobutamine and various pressors.
Provide high-level monitoring for telemetry-bed patients with varying acuity levels.
Collaborate within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team utilizing EPIC EMR.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience in a similar-sized high-acuity facility.
License: Active Georgia or Compact RN License.
Certifications: Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring.
Availability: Minimal Requested Time Off (RTO) is preferred to ensure unit consistency.
