Overview
The Lube Technician is an entrylevel automotive service role responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and inspections while delivering safe efficient and highquality service. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer vehicles are properly maintained and in identifying potential maintenance needs.
The ideal candidate is dependable detailoriented and eager to learn. This role offers handson experience in an automotive service environment with opportunities for training skill development and advancement within the shop.
Perform a vehicle multi-point inspection to ensure the proper operation of a vehicle and the safety of the customer (Check fluids filters battery test tires suspension components and the overall integrity of the vehicle)
Perform a video multi-point inspection
Fill out a vehicle multi-point inspection form that includes multi-media attachments
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure proper handling of a customers vehicle
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment
Ensure the companys core values are met with fellow employees and customers
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver license.
Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine brakes tires fluids)
Ability to perform routine maintenance services including:
Oil and filter changes
Tire rotation and pressure checks
Fluid checks and topoffs (transmission coolant brake power steering)
Battery testing and replacement
Visual inspections of belts hoses and filters
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
In addition to competitive compensation we offer:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.00$17.00 per hour
Pay Type: Nonexempt hourly position
Compensation will be based on relevant experience skills and qualifications
Overtime: Paid in accordance with federal and state law for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
