5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
Every third weekend required

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography procedures and assist with diagnostic and interventional imaging. The role requires strong technical expertise patient care skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex CT imaging procedures and generate high-quality diagnostic images
Review and document patient clinical history; ensure accurate data entry into PACS and EMR systems
Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders
Verify exam appropriateness and collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians when clarification is needed
Ensure proper documentation and insurance authorization compliance
Retrieve and upload outside imaging studies for comparison
Evaluate imaging results to ensure diagnostic quality and proper identification
Prepare patients for procedures including positioning shielding and use of immobilization devices
Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access as required
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after procedures
Educate patients and families about procedures and address concerns
Maintain compliance with departmental policies safety standards and regulatory guidelines
Support departmental operations including weekends and holidays as scheduled
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
High School Diploma or equivalent
ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T. (R))
NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
Knowledge of anatomy physiology and radiologic positioning
Strong understanding of CT equipment software and PACS systems
CT experience required
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT (CT) Certification (or must obtain within 12 months of hire)
Minimum 6 months of CT experience
Experience with EPIC and/or other HIS/RIS systems
Additional Requirements
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours/day)
Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
Commitment to maintaining continuing education (CEU credits)
Certifications & Licenses
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
NJ State Radiology License Required
BLS (AHA) Certification Required
Language Requirements
