Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week contract assignment in Loganville GA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries surgeries or medical conditions that impact mobility and function.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises mobility training and functional activities
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
Maintain a safe clean and organized treatment environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols safety standards and facility policies
Required Qualifications
Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current PTA license/certification in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Attributes
Prior experience in outpatient inpatient or rehabilitation settings
Strong patient-centered care approach
Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance
