Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently across multiple settings including emergency trauma and operating room environments while ensuring high-quality patient care and imaging standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with proper positioning and technique
Operate radiologic equipment and select appropriate imaging parameters
Conduct portable X-ray exams in patient rooms OR and emergency settings
Assist with contrast procedures and support physicians as needed
Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding techniques
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment
Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification (required)
Active New Jersey Radiology License (required no pending accepted)
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
Experience in emergency trauma and operating room settings (required)
Experience with portable imaging (required)
Pediatric experience (required)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
