Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment in a fast-paced ED environment. The RN will provide critical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions while ensuring safe high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
- Manage high-acuity cases and emergency interventions
- Perform rapid assessment triage and stabilization of patients
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol
- Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
- Document all patient care in Epic EMR
- Utilize Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Epic EMR experience (minimum 1 year required)
- BLS ACLS PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification required
- CPI or MAB certification required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
