We are frequently recognized as one of the leading trademark firms in the country. We are seeking a legal assistant to perform avariety of administrative duties for assigned attorney(s). The legal assistant will maintain positive contact with clients attorneys and staff and observe confidentiality of client matters.
This is a hybrid position with in-office requirements in our Austin TX office.
What Youll Do
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in managing domestic and international trademark client portfolios.
Assist with filings maintenance and correspondence with clients and trademark offices such as the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Draft and prepare correspondence legal documents and emails from written or oral instructions
Manage calendars schedule meetings coordinate travel (domestic and international) and maintain deadline reminders
Handle phone calls voicemail mail and internal electronic filings; ensuring timely document routing and delivery
Maintain organized client files both physical and electronic.
Conduct client based research using Secretary of State databases USPTO PACER and other online resources
Coordinate with the legal assistant team and other administrative staff as needed
Experience with handling high-volume client matters.
Prepare reports for attorneys
Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions
Qualifications
5 years of law firm experience
No trademark-specific experience required.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite document management systems timekeeping and billing systems.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
$65000 - $85000 per year (eligible for overtime)
