We are seeking a peer supporter with their own lived experience of mental illness and/or addictions to work in ourChristchurch Peer Supportteam.

What youll be doing
Meeting individually with clients to provide Intentional Peer Support
Maintaining relevant electronic records
Reflecting on your own work practice through supervision
Contribution to thePeer Supportteam.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Training and experience in Intentional Peer Support or similar.
Experience in TikangaMāoriand culturallyappropriate servicedelivery toMāoriwould be an advantage as would experience in the mental health and/or addictionssector.
Experience in the mental health and disability sector would be an advantage.
It is desirable that you have aNew Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 Peer Support Qualification (or similar) or are committed to studying towards one.
Applicants must hold a current full clean drivers license.
You will have a cultural awareness knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a criminal record check process
