Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment in a high-acuity emergency care setting. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care rapid assessment stabilization and treatment of patients presenting with emergency and life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department
Perform triage assessment and stabilization of patients
Manage a wide range of emergency cases and critical conditions
Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols
Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
Utilize Omnicell medication system for dispensing and management
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
BLS ACLS PALS certifications required
TNCC certification required
CPI or MAB certification required
Strong emergency nursing and critical thinking skills
Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
