About the Role

As a Top Lander you are a key link between surface and underground teams. You are trusted to manage loading signaling and coordination at the shaft. This is a role for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way values safe and consistent ways of working and wants to be part of an underground operation where safety and teamwork come first.

Some shifts demand heightened focus. Changing priorities equipment issues or increased traffic at the shaft require you to slow things down and stay disciplined. You stop work when conditions are not right communicate concerns clearly and follow procedures even when pressure is these moments your calm approach and adherence to standards help prevent incidents and protect everyone involved.

In this role you will be guided and supported by the Underground Operations Supervisor and work closely with hoist operators underground crews and surface support teams. You will be part of a collaborative community where clear communication shared responsibility and looking out for one another are essential to safe shaft operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Put the safety of people equipment and shaft operations first in every task and decision
• Coordinate the safe and efficient loading and unloading of personnel materials and equipment at the shaft
• Communicate clearly with hoist operators and cross-functional teams using approved signaling and radio protocols
• Verify load accuracy and ensure cages skips and conveyances remain within operational limits
• Conduct inspections of shaft landings gates signaling systems and safety devices to ensure operational readiness
• Maintain clean organized and hazard-free work areas to support safe and efficient operations
• Monitor shaft activity proactively identify risks and escalate hazards or equipment issues immediately
• Complete inspections documentation and support tasks including rigging checks logbooks and equipment operation as required

About you

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet site access requirements
• Experience in underground mining operations ideally in a Top Lander or similar role
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts in an industrial or mining environment
• Solid understanding of shaft hoisting systems signaling procedures and load control
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and disciplines
• Able to work safely in a mining environment including handling materials and working at heights or in confined spaces

Where you will be working

You will be joining Resolution Copper at a pivotal moment in the projects history. With the Resolution Copper Land Exchange now complete the project is advancing its next phase of technical work community engagement and state permitting activities.

Resolution Copper has the potential to supply nearly 25% of total U.S. copper demand and generate several thousand direct and indirect jobs in the Pioneer Mining District of Arizona delivering an economic value of several billion dollars over the life of the mine. The project will rely on block caving a proven underground mining method that uses gravity to extract ore from a deposit located more than 2000 meters below the surface. This technique is the most viable way to safely and efficiently recover the resource.

As development continues Resolution Copper will expand its underground operations conduct extensive drilling and orebody characterization and maintain both the permitting process and ongoing public engagement with Native American tribes local communities and stakeholders.

The Resolution Copper project is vital to securing Americas energy future infrastructure needs and national defense by providing a domestic supply of copper and other critical minerals. Once operational it has the potential to become one of the largest copper mines in the United States contribute approximately $1 billion annually to Arizonas economy and create thousands of local jobs in a region with more than a centurylong mining heritage.
