Your Impact / The Role

We are seeking a Supply Quality Technician with supporting Incoming Inspection. Particle Measuring Systems designs and builds complex systems for monitoring purity of chemicals and air particles used in the Pharma Med Device and Semiconductor this role the Inspector will be part of our Operations Team ensuring quality components are released to production. The incumbent will focus on electronics PCBA.s wired assemblies and raw components that are critical to the function and safety of our products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect per IPC Certifications: IPC J-STD-001 & Inspectors (CIS) Assembly of Electronic Assemblies (IPC-A-610) IPC/WHMA-A620 Requirements for Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies these certifications are not required but preferred
  • Perform incoming test of components. Monitor for conformance to design or test specifications or standards
  • Inspection of printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) verification of electrical electronic and electromechanical (EEE) components Raw chips/semiconductors for authenticity and cable assemblies
  • Work with devices/hardware that are Highly Sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge
  • Reviewing and verifying incoming documentation from suppliers including material traceability test reports certificates of conformity and packing lists
  • Accept or reject materials or articles; identify and document non-conformance and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items
  • Foster a collaborative and interactive team environment that supports both a learning and teaching culture. Maintain an effective work relationship with others in the company
  • Follow established job safety practices policies and procedures as specified in plant directives for the safe performance of daily activities. Proactively suggest improvements and elevate issues to management
  • Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency quality and safety

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years or more related experience; or a related 2-year technical degree and 2 years or more related experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing highly detailed work
  • Ability to produce quality work under pressure
  • Experience in usage of microscopes and inspection tools including calipers micrometers pin gauges and CMM
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and schematics
  • Strong computer skills and technical aptitude
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Solid time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of Quality Receiving Inspection experience
  • 3 years of working in an Electronic Equipment Manufacturing environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit stand and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary range: $25.75 - $31 per hour depending on experience
    • Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data including local national and industry benchmarks. For new hires offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role with flexibility to recognize experience skills and education.
