A reputable outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Springfield VA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
- Apply therapeutic modalities as directed by the supervising therapist
- Monitor document and report patient progress accurately
- Educate patients on recovery techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain a safe clean and supportive treatment environment
Requirements
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
