(CRC) is currently seeking a Central Station Operator to join our esteemed team of behind-the-scene heroes at the Austin Center. We pride ourselves on our professionalism commitment to excellence and fostering a supportive culture.
Position Overview:As a Central Station Operator you will play a vital role in handling consumer alarms including medical environmental and security alerts. Your responsibilities will encompass dispatching the appropriate responders assisting with data entry and ensuring a prompt and efficient response to all calls.
Schedule & Pay:
Fixed Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Full-time 32 hours per week
2nd Shift: Extra $0.50 per hour (Monday-Friday)
Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday): Extra $2.00 per hour
This position requires rotating weekends scheduled
Holiday availability on rotation: Holiday pay
How You Will Help:
Facilitating a professional and empathetic connection with callers including dealers installers and subscribers
Providing comfort and assistance to upset customers through effective de-escalation techniques
Responding to alarms/calls efficiently troubleshooting accurately and documenting actions taken to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers
Maintaining strict confidentiality of member/associate information fostering trust in our community
Adhering to CRC policies with precision and professionalism creating a safe and secure environment for all
What Youll Bring:
Previous experience in a Call Center setting is preferred
Customer Service experience is preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
Flexibility and adaptability to change
Effective organizational and time management skills
