Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) who can function independently in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical skills the ability to manage a full patient load and the capability to step into a Charge Nurse role when needed. The unit serves a wide patient population across the lifespan requiring broad clinical competency.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to MS/Tele patients
Manage patient assignments with a ratio of 1:6
Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed
Document all care accurately in the EMR

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
Previous Charge Nurse experience required
Ability to work independently and manage a full patient load
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
