Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week travel assignment in High Point North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing and mobility
Perform wound care dressing changes and other clinical procedures as required
Accurately document patient conditions treatments and progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
Collaborate with physicians RNs and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and overall health management
Maintain compliance with infection control protocols safety standards and healthcare regulations
Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and concerns
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or Compact State License (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented patient-focused environment
