We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Quality Engineer Intern to support our Quality team in ensuring products and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role will work closely with multifunctional teams across manufacturing engineering and operations specifically supporting aerospace fastener manufacturing processes. The intern will gain handson experience with quality systems data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing quality inspections audits and documentation reviews
Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and documentation support
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
Assist in maintaining and updating the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier quality records
Collect analyze and report quality-related data
Help maintain quality records procedures and work instructions
Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects
Assist in monitoring nonconformances and tracking corrective actions
Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and operations teams
Support compliance with AS9100 and ISO regulatory or customer quality requirements
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with tools such as 8D-Problem Solving Method 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams
Experience with documentation control or manufacturing environments
