Our Client is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support patient care across the SFV Santa Clarita Valley and Lancaster/Palmdale areas.
About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will support a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in providing treatment for speech-related conditions including congenital developmental and acquired disorders.
This role includes assisting with speech language and hearing screenings implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP documenting patient progress maintaining records and communicating updates to the SLP. The SLPA will also serve as a liaison between the SLP patients and families and may visit patient homes to support treatment compliance.
Requirements
Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License
Ability to follow documented treatment plans and protocols under SLP supervision
Strong documentation and communication skills
Comfortable working with patients and families in home-based settings
Ability to travel locally throughout the SFV Santa Clarita Valley and Lancaster/Palmdale areas
Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
