AL CO2 Europe SA a 100% subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group brings together CO2 production and distribution activities in Europe and defines the CO2 commercial policy for this zone. This company has 12 production plants spread over 8 countries and serves nearly 3000 customers from the food industry to the transport sector.
How will you contribute and grow
The main mission of the Energy Transition team within the Air Liquide CO2 Europe (ALCO2) entity is to deploy the Energy Transition roadmap validated by the management including the future sourcing strategy for Europe and lead the transformation of the European CO2 sourcing portfolio from Fossil to new Biogenic sourced CO2.
In this team the CO2 Business Developer is in charge of:
Strategy of the future CO2 landscape
Validate the long term CO2 sourcing needs with ALCO2 Product Management and Air Liquide local representatives based on the development priority areas
Follow-up the economics and sustainability of the main types of raw gas existing sources of ALCO2 to identify long term sustainability of their business
Ensure proper competitive intelligence of the existing and future CO2 sources to come (i.e. Update and make available to ALCO2 all information related to CO2 potential sources LCO2 existing plants and LCO2 future projects for his/her perimeter)
Deployment of the new CO2 Sourcing Strategy
Proactively identify assess and implement new green sources in coordination with ALCO2 on one side and AL local representatives of each country
Develop meet negotiate and sign agreements with new CO2 external prospects (Biogas Bioethanol BioSMR and Waste to Energy actors) in Europe to ensure the proper availability of reliable CO2
Being responsible and support for the release of the technical documents of the CPR/RIC investment process of the Air Liquide Group once the project are validated
Identify new technologies applications markets which could be good candidates for potential CO2 sources as - for example - New CO2 technology provider.
Environment and Sustainability
Support the Energy transition for the CO2 IM European activity on ad-hoc project (Regulatory watch Emerging application for CO2 (e-fuels) advocacy actions etc)
Support the CO2 emission reporting system within the ALCO2 Team and in Air Liquide Group
Being a strong promoter of the Air Liquide sustainable commitment within ALCO2 Team
Scope: France ideally based in St. Priest or Bagneux.
