POSITION: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) RN or RC PRN / Paid Per Service Home Healthcare
SCHEDULE & COVERAGE
PRN / Per Diem structure
Typically 1 to 2 days per week
Average of 6 to 8 hours per day when working
Flexible scheduling based on availability and accepted assignments
Coverage Area
Whiteville and surrounding areas
Travel within approximately 50-mile radius
On Call
No formal on call rotation required

Must reside within 50 miles of Whiteville NC

Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RC)
OVERVIEW
This is a PPS role where you choose how much you work by accepting patient setups.
Conduct in home patient assessments
Educate patients on respiratory equipment and therapy
Set up ventilators PAP devices oxygen and other respiratory equipment
Monitor and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Provide follow-up and patient support
Document all services per company standards
WHAT TO EXPECT
You control your schedule by accepting or declining setups
Income is directly tied to completed services
Higher flexibility than traditional roles but less guaranteed income
Ideal for supplemental income or clinicians wanting part time flexibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Active license based on role and state requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Must live within 50 miles of service area
Preferred
Home healthcare or respiratory equipment experience
1 plus year clinical experience
Degree in respiratory therapy nursing or related field
SKILLS
Strong patient education and communication
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Time management and scheduling flexibility
Problem solving and equipment troubleshooting
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft Office Word Excel Outlook
Email and digital documentation systems
Standard office equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and transport equipment
Travel to patient homes
Standing walking and sitting for extended periods
Exposure to patient environments and potential health risks
Must comply with N95 fit testing requirements
