Up Campus Management is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to support operations at Blume on 16th a newly developed student housing community in Columbus Ohio. This role is responsible for leading all maintenance operations ensuring the property is safe well-maintained and operating efficiently while delivering a strong resident experience.
The Maintenance Supervisor partners closely with onsite leadership and vendors to oversee work orders preventative maintenance and unit turns while maintaining compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized responsive and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality living environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees day-to-day maintenance operations including work order management preventative maintenance vendor coordination and unit readiness. This role is accountable for maintaining property standards supporting budget performance and ensuring timely and effective service for residents. This position works closely with the Community Manager and onsite team to support occupancy goals resident satisfaction and overall property performance.
WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Property Maintenance & Operations
Oversee and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Lead preventative maintenance programs to maintain building systems and reduce long-term costs
Ensure all units are turned efficiently and ready for new residents
Maintain property appearance and ensure community standards are consistently met
Systems Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations
Maintain required documentation and service records
Support inspections and address any identified issues promptly
Handle emergency maintenance situations as needed
Team & Vendor Coordination
Supervise and support maintenance staff providing guidance and training as needed
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and timely completion
Support inventory tracking and ordering of supplies
Requirements
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role
5 years of experience in a real estate or multifamily maintenance capacity
EPA certification required
CAM-T certification preferred
Available for on call/nights and weekends as needed in emergency situations
Strong knowledge of building systems maintenance processes and safety standards
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Strong organization and communication skills
Able to start June 1 2026.
