Distribution Team Lead

Job Title: Team Leader (Distribution)
Location: Nettleton MS
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM with occasional overtime until 5:00 PM)

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00/ hr

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our distribution team in Nettleton MS. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations driving team performance and ensuring all safety and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment and the ability to operate a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates to meet daily production goals
• Monitor workflow and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
• Train coach and support team members on job duties and safety procedures
• Collaborate with management to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
• Enforce company policies and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety
• Operate a forklift as needed to support daily operations
• Assist with hands-on warehouse tasks including loading unloading and material handling
• Track employee attendance productivity and overall team performance
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Required: Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Required: Forklift operating experience
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of shipping receiving and inventory processes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
