Kindergarten Teacher (26-27)

General Information/Duties:

• Plan deliver and assess instruction consistent with district curriculum
• Provide a variety of learning methods and resources to engage students in educational activities and lessons
• Continuously monitor and evaluate student outcomes through informal and formative assessments
• Effectively and consistently communicate and interact with students parents staff and the community
• Be a team player; working with other members to improve techniques relations with the community and school environment
• Committed to continuous improvement through training and the use of technology.
• Participate in district-wide professional development
• Perform other duties consistent within the scope of the position

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelors degree
• Current & appropriate Michigan certification
• Demonstrated skills in the use of technology
• Ability and willingness to work in a team setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the academic social and emotional needs of the school age student is required.

Terms of Employment:

Full-time position. All terms per Master Contract between Board of Education and the Tecumseh Education Association/MEA. Minimum starting contract salary $41375
