The Role
As Vet Director - ECC youll be the clinical cornerstone of our emergency service. Working alongside your team youll lead by example - setting the benchmark in patient care while actively guiding clinicians through every stage of their growth.
Your impact will be seen in how you:
Navigate complex ECC cases with clarity composure and empathy
Coach and support veterinarians through case discussions feedback and in-the-moment teaching
Foster a culture where psychological safety and high performance go hand in hand
Develop and refine clinical protocols that reflect best practice
Help shape the hospitals clinical direction in partnership with senior leadership
Youll work closely with leadership on strategy and growth while keeping your focus where it belongs: on people patients and outcomes.

IDEXX in-house laboratory suites
Phillips ultrasound and Siemens MRI/CT
A dedicated ICU and three fully equipped surgical theatres
Smartflow workflow systems and Pet Ambulance services
Youll be part of a deeply engaged team that values collaboration continuous learning and high-quality patient care.
About You
Youre an ECC veterinarian who:
Holds a veterinary degree eligible for registration in New South Wales
Has 5 years experience in a 24/7 emergency or specialty setting
Is clinically assured and trusted by colleagues
Gains real satisfaction from teaching mentoring and supporting others
Leads with self-awareness consistency and clear communication
Is ready to step into senior clinical leadership without stepping away from clinical work
