Job Summary:We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The role involves assisting Physical Therapists in delivering treatment plans and ensuring patients receive high-quality rehabilitative care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment
Patient Population:
Outpatient orthopedic conditions
Productivity Expectations:
Approximately 60 patient visits per week
Treat 1214 patients per day
Double-booking of follow-up visits expected
Requirements:
Outpatient experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently
Certifications & Licensure:
Active PTA License (State of Texas or eligible)
BLS Certification (preferred)
Additional Information:
No floating to other clinics
Supportive outpatient environment
