Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Urology Location: Atlanta GA 30342 Duration: 13 Weeks (Possibility of extension)

Day Shift: Monday Friday (08:00 AM 04:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a fast-paced outpatient urology practice. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care assist with clinical procedures and help maintain efficient patient flow while ensuring high standards of safety and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and RNs
Assist with clinical procedures and patient examinations
Obtain patient history vital signs and document accurately in EMR systems
Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Assist with in-office procedures such as catheterization bladder scans and specimen collection (if applicable)
Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice
Educate patients on procedures medications and post-care instructions
Maintain infection control and safety standards
Prepare stock and clean exam rooms
Support patient flow and coordinate with clinical and administrative staff
Required Qualifications:
Active LPN license in the state of Georgia (or compact eligible)
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
Current BLS certification (AHA required)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior urology experience (preferred)
Experience in outpatient clinics or specialty practices
Familiarity with EMR systems
Experience with catheter care wound care or procedural support
