Tasks
We are looking for an experienced leader and /or expert to head up the certification department for our products in the Cabin & Catering Equipment and HEMS air rescue business units
Objective of the role:
To ensure that all relevant certifications are obtained on time and cost-effectively across all projects.
Your responsibilities:
Leading a team of 1520 staff members
Overall responsibility for all certification processes
Planning of resources capacities and workflows
Coordination with customers authorities and internal departments
Process optimisation and continuous development within the specialist area
Training and induction of new team members
Requirements
A degree in a technical subject
Substantial management experience
Currently or previously Head of Office of Airworthiness or deputy
Experience in the field of approvals and regulatory requirements
Experience in the aviation industry
Knowledge of relevant standards and legal requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented management style
Organisational skills and project experience
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Fluent in English and in German
