We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support automation and control systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on PLC/SCADA systems process automation and system integration ensuring reliable and compliant operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in controls design troubleshooting and validation support within pharma or biotech settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain PLC/SCADA/DCS control systems for manufacturing processes
Support automation projects including system upgrades commissioning and integration
Troubleshoot and resolve controls and automation issues to minimize downtime
Collaborate with Engineering Validation and Manufacturing teams to support operations
Assist with commissioning qualification (CQV) and validation activities
Ensure compliance with GMP FDA and industry standards
Develop and maintain control system documentation including specifications and SOPs
Support change control deviation investigations and CAPA activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Controls or related Engineering field
3 8 years of experience in controls/automation within pharmaceutical or regulated industries
Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley Siemens etc.)
Experience with SCADA or DCS systems
Strong understanding of automation and control system design principles
Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance
