Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a high-volume imaging department at Northside Hospital Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and experienced in handling inpatient MRI studies in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
Provide imaging support for inpatient cases
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning
Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality
Accurately document procedures using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (recent within specialty)
ARRT (MRI) Certification Required
BLS Certification Required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to work independently in a busy hospital setting
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Assignment Details
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Friday Saturday Sunday (7p 7:30a)
No On-Call Required
Travel Candidates Only (No local candidates within 50 miles)
Overtime & Pay Structure
Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
Rate Negotiable
