Registered Nurse (Endoscopy / GI / MedSurg) Travel Assignment Rockford IL
We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Rockford Illinois. This is a great opportunity for RNs with strong GI/Endoscopy experience looking for a structured schedule in a busy procedural setting.
Assignment DetailsLocation: Rockford IL 61104
Duration: 13 weeks (May 26 August 22 2026)
Shift: Day Shift (4 10s) 06:15 AM to 04:45 PM (Monday Friday)
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
On-call: Yes (7 10 days in a 6-week schedule evenings/nights/weekends/holidays)
Openings: 2 positions
Candidate Type: Travel only
This role is ideal for RNs experienced in high-volume GI labs with exposure to both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

- Manage sedation and monitor patients during procedures
- Handle scope flow and ensure quick turnovers in a busy lab
- Support both inpatient and outpatient GI cases
- Maintain patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endoscopy RN experience
- Active Illinois RN License
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Advanced ERCP procedural experience (hands-on with opening guidewire and closing)
- Conscious sedation training
- Scope reprocessing training
- CGRN certification
- Experience in high-volume procedural labs
