This role provides safe reliable and efficient operation of assigned aircraft ensuring competitive advantage in air transportation.What youll do...
- Ensure company aircraft are operated in a safe and regulatory compliant manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures. Ensure the aircraft assigned is airworthy and has appropriate maintenance paperwork.
- Inform passengers of all safety features of the aircraft updating the status of their flight along with any required changes.
- Dealing with all paperwork and interactions with Customs Border Service Agencies on behave of the crew and passengers.
- Update Company dispatch each flight.
- Operating the aircraft in compliance with all manufacturers manuals and guidelines along with conforming to company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct/review flight planning for each flight including weather fuel weight and balance and aircraft air-worthiness by ensuring that pre-flight enroute and post flight duties have been performed.
Preferred Qualifications and required skills:
- Valid Canadian ATPL License.
- 3500 hours total flying time.
- 1000 hours jet time.
- 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC);
- Transport Canada Category 1 Medical required.
- IFR Rating required.
- Multi Engine Rating required.
- Ability to operate an aircraft in both high density and remote airports.
- Corporate aviation experience.
- Strong leadership skills and abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately interface with customers.
- Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptionally detail oriented.
- FAA ATP an asset.
- LR45 type rating an asset.
- E550 type rating an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and if needed hold the necessary B1/B2 & C1/D United States VISAS.
