A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cardiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiography studies including 2D M-Mode and Doppler (Pulse Wave Continuous Wave and Color Flow)
Obtain patient history and prepare patients for procedures
Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal results
Provide preliminary interpretations for physician review
Perform emergency and on-demand echocardiography procedures
Assist physicians with specialized procedures including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Maintain accurate documentation and echo lab records
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality protocols
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
Rotate between multiple clinical sites as required
Requirements:
12 years of experience in echocardiography required
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Proficiency in English (reading writing and communication)
Flexibility to rotate between multiple locations
Certifications & Licensure:
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Required
BLS Certification Required
All certifications must be active and current
